Practice Test Questions. The purpose of these practice test materials is to orient teachers and students to the types of questions on paper-based FSA tests. By using these materials, students will become familiar with the types of items and response formats they may see on a paper-based test.
Students, parents, and teachers should use the released tests to better understand the FCAT and the types of reading passages and questions included on the test. The released tests can also be used to illustrate the length of an actual test and the difficulty of the questions on the test.
The FCAT 2.0 Reading tests and sample questions and answers are based on the 2007 Next Generation Sunshine State Standards. The sample questions for students and the sample answers for teachers will only be available online, at http://fcat.fldoe.org/fcat2/fcatitem.asp.
