1 Ιαν 2024 · MINIMUM WAGE INCREASE EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2024. Effective January 1, 2024, due to the implementation of Senate Bill (SB) 3, the minimum wage in California will increase to $16.00 per hour for all employers.

The minimum base wage for exempt employees is $66,560/year, or $1,280/week. Local regulations add yet another layer of complexity to California’s labor laws.
