11 Δεκ 2019 · The Calstar grafighters are very good rods and I have a ton of them from 760l, 760m,700xl, 700l, 700h, 700xh, 800l, 800m and all of them are good rods. The Seeker blacksteel rods are also very good rods.
13 Μαρ 2013 · I'm looking at getting some rail rods and I narrowed it down to the Calstar GFGR770XH-XXH-XXXH Series of rods. And The Super Seeker rods 7'1x3-2x4-3x5 series of rods as well. I know the calstar is made of graphite and glass and the seeker is made of carbon fiber and s glass.
13 Νοε 2018 · Was it a custom rod or a factory built? Rod length on the rail, especially 6" shouldn't make any significant difference, but I could see the handle length being a huge pain if too short like you described. My personal rods are 13" rear grip.

While on land (or perhaps during slow periods at sea) the fisherman has this Calstar GFGR 700H review to give him a glimpse of one offshore wonder.
13 Οκτ 2022 · Calstar manufactures their own rods and blanks in California using very tested materials and designs. They aren’t bringing in commodity blanks with silly advertising hype. If you like them, it seems as reasonable to try them as anything else.
9 Μαρ 2009 · For trolling rods, the WC series is hands down a better choice than the GFGR's. I have the WC660XH RSRT's and the WC665H's, and they're very nice rods. All in all, I like the durability of glass for tuna. I'll make you a deal on the 800L, as it's a beautiful rod in perfect condition.
4 Ιουν 2005 · How do the seeker rods compare to the Calstar grafighters? I have several Calstar and Seeker rods and the Calstars cost much more than the Seekers but I know nothing about the black or blue steel series. I even have custom rods made on the East coast but my absolute favorites are the Calstar rods.
