25 Αυγ 2018 · I went to put my 19 back together and accidentally slid it on top of my glock 34 frame. For the life of me, I can't get it to come off. I am comfortable doing a complete strip of the firearm, and know the parts.
First, with the slide upside down make sure the RSA (recoil spring assy) is seated in the assembly notch. That is the lower semicircular notch on the barrel lugs. If that is correct, when the slide gets stuck, pull forward on the trigger a little bit and the slide will usually seat with ease.
30 Μαρ 2018 · The only thing I can think of is that the guiderod/spring have dislodged. Try holding it slide side down and tap the slide with a rubber mallet to see if it will seat against the barrel. Try removing the slide while still upside down.
A common reason the slide gets stuck or hard to rack on a Glock is that the guide rod is jumping up or not seating correctly. A lot of times replacing a stainless steel guide rod with something more flexible like a polymer guide rod can help fix the issue.

18 Σεπ 2020 · 1. With firearm upside down - try to remove slide. If #1 does not work: 2. Lock slide back (using regular procedure) - remove firing pin assembly. Slide should come off. Let us know....
17 Μαΐ 2020 · Line the slide up on the frame in proper orientation and pull the trigger. It should free it up. Pull trigger, or make sure the takedown lever is depressed. I’ve never seen that issue before. I have put my slide back on accidentally before putting the recoil spring and barrel in.
