Daisy met her husband, Jerry, while attending Long Island University. After marrying, Daisy dedicated herself to raising her family, for whom she often hosted festive gatherings with delicious food. In 1998, Daisy matriculated at the French Culinary Institute, where she won first prize for her final project, "The Passionate Palate."
