Finally after almost two months I finished reading Darkly Dreaming Dexter and due to my bad English I have missed something. In the book's ending, does Debra die or not? And LaGuerta? Does she die too? Someone please explain the ending to me.
I read the first 3 books. They are great and much darker. The first book is almost verbatim season 1 but in season 2 the show rears away from the books.
The third season of DEXTER premiered 28 September 2008 and ended 14 December 2008. Rita discovers she is pregnant, informing Dexter that she will keep the baby and raise him with or without his help. He ends up proposing marriage to Rita, which she eventually accepts.
Darkly Dreaming Dexter is the first novel in the Dexter Novels, written by Jeff Lindsay and released in 2004. It won the 2005 Dilys Award. The events in this novel are similar to the events in Season One of Showtime's series DEXTER, but then the storyline veers away from the books.
Spoiler For as long as I’ve been a fan of the Dexter tv show, I decided to give the books a try. I finished the first book today, and, well, as good as it was, it was nothing nearly as good as the first season of the show.
