30 Αυγ 2005 · The Time Windows manage to pump out some clean bass down to around 40 Hz, and in my modest living room, they sound spectacular, as good as the sound of the recordings or signals they are fed. I wish I could see a similar design utilizing modern drivers from SEAS or Scanspeak.

Mine reportedly had a pair of Philips upper 6.5-inch midrange drivers, (since replaced by who-knows-what during restoration) with a pair of Philips tweeters mounted beneath them, and a crossover network that delays the tweeters ...
Audio Enthusiast. Bought my DCM Time Window 7s on a 40% off whim when Incredible Universe went out of business in about 1996. I've kept them thru Yamaha to Rotel to Classe electronics and they just keep sounding better. Full range response, tight bass, super clear, with tons of space between and around the individual instruments and vocals.
25 Φεβ 2016 · Ahh the DCM Time Window, man coul they image. Take a look at the Tannoy Revolution XT8F. Little known in the states but a ton of good press the past 60 days. The 2 channel demo at CEDIA (yes 2 channel at a HT expo) was fantastic.
20 Αυγ 2010 · I saw some pretty wild things there, and remember TW7's quite well, although I was a teenager. Nowadays I see occasionally some oddball dcm stuff that is pretty rare. I saw for sale on CL some TW bookshelf models once! I just wonder if DCM made some experimental speakers, sent only to certian shops in certain markets?
7 Απρ 2017 · In general, the sevens share many performance elements of the 1, 1a and 3 series, which evolved and became more sophisticated over time. For me the unique feature of any of the TimeWindow is that they present a good stereo image in virtually all positions in the room.
