There are MANY users running this router in a variety of different environments and most have no or minimal issues. To be fair, some versions of DD-WRT have been better than others. However, the most recent firmware revisions have been stable in most typical setups.
I have a TP link router (Archer C7 v5), the default TX setting in DD-WRT on 2.4 GHz is 30 but it says (max 24). I didn't change the default & its working a bit too well.
19 Οκτ 2009 · My SpeedTest.net results going through the WNDR3300 as a repeater bridge (connecting via Wireless-N or Wireless-G, it is the same) tends to be about 10-25ms ping, 0.25-0.50 Mbps download, and 4.6-5.2 Mbps upload. If I connect to the DGL-4500, I get normal results of around 10-25ms ping, 13.5-17 Mbps download, and 4.8-5.8 Mbps upload.
27 Μαΐ 2016 · What are good settings to use for Tx Power and Antenna Gain with dd-wrt on my router (WNDR3700v1)? Currently, it is set to the defaults of 20dbm for Tx power and 0dbi for antenna gain. I want to push the envelope without getting the FCC to come knocking at my door. Has anyone done this before?
I have a Lenovo W520 with a 1x1 11b/g/n Wireless LAN PCI Express Half Mini Card Adapter and a D-Link DIR-825 using DD-WRT (build 18777). I understand that my adapter doesn't work on the 5GHz frequency band so it can't see the SSID that utilizes it.
