23 Ιουν 2024 · New players should directly purchase Augmented Cryptlurker Weapons and Gear, giving IL 530, with Allagan Tomestones of Poetics. This gear is bolded in the tables below. Poetics gear becomes available in Eulmore and at Mowen's Merchant in the Crystarium (X:10.1 Y:11.8) after Shadowbringers.

The strongest tomestone gear is Cryptlurker with Revelations. You should work towards that set weekly. if you do Savage you can get the Edenmorn set (strongest), normal raids on Eden Promise give Edenmete (weekly) which are also good. In Bozja you can get Law Order set (also weekly).
The fastest way to get gear at level 80 is to buy the crafted Exarchic (currently) set, but if you're cheap (or broke) you can gear up without spending a single gil just by playing the game. I would strongly suggest buying the Exarchic Weapon for your class though.
You can continue without the gear and then forget about it. I was already wearing better equipment when I did the quests so I didn't pick it up to avoid further inventory clutter. ...and then forgot where to get it.
