Individual requests will need to visit Mass.Gov/RMV. DPPA permitted users will log into the Crash Data Portal/System for copies of police crash reports. Crash Data Portal: To log into the Crash Data Portal, you will be assigned a Username (your email address) and be prompted to create a password.
Crash Data. Structured crash data available from the MassDOT Highway Division. When car crashes are reported to the Registry of Motor Vehicles, the MassDOT Highway Division uses the crash information for data-driven safety analyses and traffic engineering studies.

The Records Division’s main responsibilities are to securely store, retrieve and distribute police reports. Police reports consist of investigation reports, property reports, supplement reports, vehicular accidents, arrests, and miscellaneous incident reports.
Police Log. The Police Log is a chronological record of calls for police service. It is physically printed and available daily in the police station for review. An electronic version is also created and placed on this web site. It is usually uploaded within 2 business days.
