Currently, the Debug Menu is not activated by default and must be "created" to appear in game. Below is the steps necessary to create the menu for it to run. Create a text file anywhere on your computer and save the file name as debug_enable (it might require debug_enable.txt on windows).
17 Φεβ 2017 · This can easily be done by just creating a simple (empty) text-file inside the " OxygenNotIncluded_Data"-folder which is located at the root of the game-folder. The text-file needs to be named: Note: The ".txt" is the extension! The filename should be "debug_enable". This allows you to use Debug-commands (A restart of the game is necessary).
Oxygen Not Included features a Debug Menu capable of viewing and generating reports of data as well as exploiting and cheating (for those who wish to use it in this way). If debugging lacks a capability, then you need try the save file editor Duplicity.
15 Αυγ 2019 · I'm having trouble getting Debug Mode to activate, I added the "debug_enable.txt" File to the OxygenNotIncluded_Data File, And restarted the game multiple times, But it's still not coming up when I press backspace.
2 Μαρ 2020 · To do this, you can force the game so that all commands are available with debug mode in oxygen not included . Which you achieve by creating a simple (empty) text file inside the “OxygenNotIncluded_Data” folder located in the root of the game folder.
"Under controls (Hit ESC in-game) and use the right-arrow at the top of the menu until Debug Controls" if backspace does not work.
