It's a bit wasteful of arrows, but can be more efficient if you use multishot bows (at this close range all arrows would hit from 3x-5x bows), and you only need to do this about 2-3x. Or find taluses which have the ore on the top of their heads so you can go ham with melee weapons instead :)

Quick question: for the miniboss medals, does the game tell you an approximate location for Hinoxes, Talus', etc. or are you left to your own devices to track down all 40. Similarly, how do you keep track if you have killed 40 different ones?
