25 Σεπ 2024 · Clouds are created when water vapor, an invisible gas, turns into liquid water droplets. These water droplets form on tiny particles, like dust, that are floating in the air.

19 Δεκ 2017 · Most of the water in clouds is in very small droplets. The droplets are so light they float in the air. Sometimes those droplets join with other droplets. Then they turn into larger drops. When that happens, gravity causes them to fall to Earth. We call the falling water drops “rain.”.
In the cool air high above the ground, the water vapor changes into droplets of water. Large groups of these droplets are called clouds. Gravity pulls the droplets back to Earth as rain. The rain falls into oceans and lakes, enters rivers, and seeps into the ground.
The water cycle is how water travels from the Earth’s surface, up into the air and the sky, and then back to the ground again. It is driven by 3 things: Evaporation, Condensation, and...
8 Αυγ 2020 · The sun heats up water in rivers, lakes, and oceans, and turns it into vapor that rises into the air. Condensation: As the water vapor goes up into cooler parts of the sky, it turns back into tiny liquid water droplets. This is condensation. When lots of these droplets come together, they form clouds.
Water is a polar molecule and is attracted to other polar molecules. Thus, droplets, or beads, of water form on a nonpolar surface because water molecules adhere together instead of adhering to the surface.
When cooled, the atmospheric vapor molecules become tiny water droplets. These - not yet heavy enough to fall back to Earth as rain - hang in the air , combining with millions of others to form clouds .
