As you've already noticed, the Current version of RE is Beta version 0.0.1, this is because in order to make Real Estate Continued as good as it can be, it needs a considerable amount of digital surgery.
Vortex does some cool stuff including supporting both Fallout 4 VR and Skyrim VR officially (EDIT: MO2 has recently updated to directly support both as well!). It's also consistently updated (about every week) and the new official program of The Nexus (replacing NMM which is no longer supported).

load up SkyrimVR in Vortex, open the folder that stores your SE mods, then click and drag them in. After they're in, just replace/remove the SKSE ones, and get rid of any that mess with first person animations or user interface.
