14 Ιουλ 2014 · Quest drop bugging is the process of killing ant act, receiving a quest drop, and not completing the quest. This allow us to receive a quest drop every time we kill the boss. Quest drops ensure you won't get any white items, arrows/bolts, potions, or any other "trash" from the drop.
Killing an act boss (Andariel &, Duriel, Mephisto, Baal) when your quest is active drops better loot than if the quest isn't active. What is better loot? 0% chance to drop only scrolls/keys/potions, higher chance to drop higher quality gear (magic, rare, set, unique).
21 Ιαν 2022 · In a nutshell, the quest drop for bosses removes the junk treasure classes from their drop tables… Junk being gold, potions, scrolls, etc., which is why the other good loot has a better chance of dropping on the quest kill. As far as quest drop “bug” killing: Character1 who has completed the Baal quest creates the game.
I'm planning on farming Mephisto a bunch when D2R comes out, and I'm considering whether or not I want to try and quest bug Mephisto for better drops. The way to do it would be to avoid finishing the Mephisto quest and only farm Mephisto in public chaos/baalruns.
25 Νοε 2022 · If you quest bugged andariel, the bug would override her normal drop table with the quest drop table (a better one). They patched the bug by making the normal table the same as the quest table. This way wether you "bug andy" or not, you always get the better drops.
To quest bug Andariel's loot table you ONLY need to do one thing and one thing only, talk to Warriv. You actually dont even need to go to A2. Someone tested this thoroughly but i can't find the post at the moment.
23 Σεπ 2021 · An Andariel run is a kill of Act 1 Boss Andariel found in the Catacombs Level 4. Andariel is a very easy boss to kill for magic finding, and if you know how to quest glitch her, she drops a lot of good items that you will need for quite a few end-game builds!
