We aimed to examine the rate of kidney recovery, time to recovery, and hospitalization-related clinical parameters associated with kidney recovery in patients with AKI-D.
17 Ιουν 2010 · The data are presented in Table 2 and reveal that recovery occurred in 14 women and 25 men after 383–2081 days of dialysis treatment. Mean dialysis time was 726 (SD 360) days. A total of 29 patients were treated by means of HD, six with PD, and four with both PD and HD for various lengths of time.

It aims to improve quality of life by making recommendations on planning, starting and switching treatments, and coordinating care.
During a median of 42 months of follow-up, patients with recovery within 1 to 4 days had the lowest rates of kidney failure or a continued 40% decrease in estimated glomerular filtreation rate below a reference value during the 90-day recovery period.
