JT-65 needs to have an accurately synced PC clock. Dimension 4 installed in minutes and was busily tweaking my clock in minutes. No troubles. It also seemas a lot more full-featured than Meinberg. The download is free, but I happily paid the $10 recommended donation. This product beats the pants off of the Meinberg NTP server.
However, in the latest version of D4, version 5.3, we added support to sync the time via HTTP (which is not UDP based, but TCP based). If you don’t already have version 5, you can download it here.
