20 Αυγ 2004 · There is no way to disable only one of the Control keys. You may wish to attach an external keyboard to your system, as a work-around. Have an Insp8200 and I wish to disable the left side "ctrl" key on the laptop keyboard. is there a way to do this?

18 Σεπ 2009 · The only way is to disable system-wide (that includes the notebook's keyboard) the custom control keys, and tell OS X that you just want to use it as normal F1-F12/F16 keys. Go to System Preferences > Keyboard. Check the box that says "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys".
