13 Μαΐ 2010 · One way it can get "stuck" in Safe Mode is via the "boot.ini" file. After booting to Safe Mode, do Start -> Run -> "msconfig" Then click on the "Boot.ini" tab and clear the checkbox in front of "/SAFEBOOT". HTH, JW

24 Δεκ 2008 · You can either boot on an XP CD, enter the recovery console and type bootcfg /rebuild at the c:\windows\ prompt to rebuild a normal boot.ini file, or boot using another bootable CD that supports NTFS to edit the boot.ini file manually.

26 Ιουν 2007 · This is why on xp home edition in safe mode you have a Security tab. So knowing this you could possibly disable safe mode by denying permissions on the safeboot key, causing the option key to not be created. You would have to do some research, but it's possible to disable safe mode this way.
Tip #1: Boot into Safe Mode. Try to run the sfc /scannow command while in Safe Mode. To boot into Safe Mode, follow these steps: Boot your computer; Press the F8 key before the Windows logo appears; At the Windows Options screen, use the arrows keys and select Safe Mode; Press Enter
12 Ιαν 2008 · Here's how to make the Windows XP file system think it's in safe mode. This will disable Windows File Protection, and also add the Security tab when you right-click on a file in Explorer and select Properties.
