22 Φεβ 2023 · I've this issue, I've a Win11 laptop with AMD Radeon Graphics. I've installed latest driver and AMD Adrenalin Edition program from AMD website, but Windows Update keep disabling both. I've tried to re-install all, but after a while Windows Update again disable everything. How can I fix this? I would like to be able to use AMD program.
20 Μαρ 2023 · You can stop automatic driver updates on Windows using device installation settings, Group Policy Editor, and the Windows Registry. With the device installation settings for automatic driver download set to off, Windows won't download and install AMD graphics drivers automatically.
9 Φεβ 2023 · Download DDU, then using DDU uninstall all AMD and NVIDIA drivers, but also click the box that says 'prevent windows from automatic updates' (or something like that). Then click ok. Restart PC and install amd drivers again and now the problem will be fixed.

26 Μαΐ 2023 · 05-29-2023 07:07 PM. If you haven't tried WUSHOWHIDE yet, it's worth a try if it would help. First, uninstall the drivers you don't want on your PC or replace them with official drivers. Then run wushowhide diagcap and select the undesired drivers that Windows is trying to install and click HIDE.
8 Μαρ 2022 · If you have Windows 10 Pro or higher you can use Group Policy to disable Windows Update from installing drivers for your hardware. I needed to use Windows 10 Pro Group Policy otherwise it kept downloading drivers that I didn't need or want.
