26 Ιουλ 2017 · This 1960 Disneyland main-gate map, which succeeds the 1958 version (no 1959 version is known to exist), features an updated style and color-scheme. The identifying year and copyright information for Walt Disney Productions (the s has returned: see 1958 version) can be found on the back panel with a printing date of 6-60.
Instead, Disney artist and Imagineer Sam McKim became the master of Disney’s theme park maps. Actor turned artist McKim’s drawings inspired many of Disney’s films and theme park attractions but it is his early, intricate and fascinating theme park souvenir maps for which he is renowned.
