7 Αυγ 2017 · Some of the issues you're describing were caused by my EGR Valve that failed. I had rough Idle, loss of power, surging at low cruising speed, misfiring, and stalling when accelerating from a stop.

27 Οκτ 2009 · 1. Sludge -- Sludge is caused by coolant leaking internally into the engine, from the water pump. The pump begins seeping, and being an internally mounted pump, it goes right into the oil, via the timing chain housing. Over time the coolant mixing with the oil causes the sludge.
5 Μαρ 2011 · The only symptom that I can physically detect is a slight hesitation when you punch the throttle. The Actron code reader says that the #1 fix for this is the Oxygen Sensor, followed by replacing the PCM.
2 Νοε 2017 · I also purchased a new timing tensioner. I attempted to 'prime' the tensioner by placing it into a cup of oil and depressing it a few times but I was unsure if I really got it primed. I assembled the car and turned it on...and it started fine but there was a VERY LOUD noise coming from the engine.
