27 Οκτ 2021 · If your lock/unlock function worked before you swapped batteries then you have messed that up and it should not be causing your 'Start Error' message. A common fault with the immobiliser is often a faulty circuit board in the SKREEM module which is mounted to the rear of the instrument cluster.
28 Αυγ 2017 · Your van should have chipped keys. Since you are not getting a start error on teh instrument cluster, you most likely have a problem in the following areas. The start contacts on the ignition switch are not working. The starter trigger wire is not providing enough current to actuate the starters solenoid.

It is highly likely that if the engine is cranking but not starting that it has thrown an OBDII code. Use an OBDII scanner to check and see if the engine has thrown any trouble codes.
