16 Μαΐ 2024 · The recommended starting dosage of MOUNJARO is 2.5 mg injected subcutaneously once weekly. The 2.5 mg dosage is for treatment initiation and is not intended for glycemic control. After 4 weeks, increase the dosage to 5 mg injected subcutaneously once weekly.
The recommended maintenance doses are 5 mg, 10 mg and 15 mg. The maximum dose is 15 mg once weekly. When tirzepatide is added to existing metformin and/or sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 inhibitor (SGLT2i) therapy, the current dose of metformin and/or SGLT2i can be continued.
