13 Φεβ 2023 · Title 22 does allow a therapist, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner, acting within the scope of their respective practice, to evaluate each beneficiary for a substance use disorder. The individual who performs the diagnosis shall document the basis for the diagnosis in the beneficiary’s record.
