17 Οκτ 2024 · Your flashcard is blocked the the latest DSi firmware, so you'll need to install CFW to unblock it. Specifically you need Unlaunch, then you can launch it from the DSi Menu (if Unlaunch is installed with launcher patches enabled), Unlaunch itself, or TWiLight Menu++.
2 Φεβ 2011 · You'll have to buy a newer R4 card because the bios in the DSi now recognizes the old card and blocks it. You can sell or give your old card to someone who hasn't updated their bios. Get the newest firmware for the new card to be able to the latest rom releases.
17 Οκτ 2024 · #1. My R4i-SDHC is not working (I attached a picture of the cart I have). When I try to boot into the R4i Card. I get this message: "An error has occurred. Press and hold the Power Button to turn the system off. Please use the Nintendo DSi Operations Manual for help troubleshooting." (See Attachment). My DSi is on 1.4.5U.
those games are dsi-enhanced and/or have anti-piracy. Try softmodding DSi and using nds-bootstrap in TWiLightMenu++
I have a very old R4 on the DSi (the one with "i" and "1.4" marks on it), it worked in the past but now it always gives me error, I assume the console updated itself at some point so it isn't reading it anymore (the console version is 1.4.5E). I tried downloading the latest card firmware from 2018 but it still won't read it.
1 Οκτ 2018 · I’ve been trying to get my r4 card to work for days now, and I’m getting a bit at a whits end. All it shows when I open up the r4 game is a white screen with a red SD card with “menu” written in it.
