If people with the disorder are allowed to continue their own sleep routine, they are able to get a similar amount of quality sleep as those who have a normal sleep pattern.
Treatments for delayed sleep phase syndrome include light therapy and chronotherapy, which resets the circadian clock by delaying bedtime.
