One artist is annually selected as the DU Artist of the Year, and their art will become the centerpiece of the National Art Package, receiving appropriate promotion and prominence.
The 2026 Ducks Unlimited Artist of the Year will be recognized with an article in Ducks Unlimited and at the DU National Convention. To be considered, please submit jpeg images to art@ducks.org or a USB drive mailed to the physical address listed below. All submissions must be received no later than August 30, 2024.

One form must be completed and affixed to the back of each entry. (Please have in an unsealed envelope). A countersigned copy of the agreement will be returned to the winning artist. The artist will retain ownership of all original artwork. The subject matter for 2024 is: “DU in the wetlands”.
How does an artist receive consideration for "Artist of the Year" nomination? Answer: Ducks Unlimited has a national art selection process each year. The artist who submits the most popular waterfowl or waterfowl-related image is selected as the Ducks Unlimited "Artist of the Year."
