Depends on the undercoating. I'd go with something less permanent to reduce the risk of trapping moisture. Things like Ziebart or Line-x may eventually get a chip that allows one small entry point, which then effectively turns the coating into a sealant that exacerbates rust.

Keeping a car shiny from the best ways of paint protection is all well and good, but the underside doesn’t have a nice coat of paint to protect it from the elements.
