(Long post, sorry) I put a deposit down on a border collie breeder and I had originally thought that I had made the right choice but since the border collie community seems to have a lot of differing opinions in every aspect I am starting to get worried as I’ve heard so many conflicting thoughts.
Collies aren’t exactly a dime a dozen these days. Palmhaven for sure looks like a puppy mill but the dogs are tested for major heath problems and sires and dams are AKC certified. When we were looking for a Collie 3 years back it was next to impossible to find one that wasnt from a place like this.

8 Αυγ 2021 · Use the search bar and search for each breeder. Usually there are posts where others have asked for opinions on certain breeders. It's hard to go through and say if a breeder is reputable or not, since sometimes things change over time.
