1 Μαρ 2016 · The stock ECU tune is going to be very conservative and will pull timing significantly at high temperatures. This tends to happen at > 7k RPM. That's a bit what the graph looks like for the stock tune.

What's interesting is the e92 M3 doesn't make more HP than the 335i until it's above 5800 rpms, and never makes more torque. The car is going to scream above 6000 rpms, but having to keep the tach above 6000 rpms just to outrun a stock 335i might get tiresome.
At 12% loss, this E92 M3 is dyno'ing at approx. 424BHP, which is still 10BHP higher than the advertised 414BHP. I have NEVER seen a RWD car only have 12% drivetrain loss. 15% is the norm for manuals, 18-20% for autos.
With up to 62 more horsepower available from these mods, you stand to put your M3 above the 450hp mark while also ditching the top speed governor, increasing the redline, adding launch control, improving the steering and throttle feel, and giving your M3 a hearty boost in driving enjoyment.
