25 Μαΐ 2010 · Tuple term construction with the ,/2 operator is generally right-associative in PROLOG (typically referred to as a sequence), so your input of a, b(c), d(e(f)), g might well actually be the term (a, (b(c), (d(e(f)), g))).
9 Μαΐ 2022 · Which functor should I use to express Pair and Tuples? (x,y) or x-y? (x,y,z) or x-y-z? In the The Power of Prolog, the author says that. Pairs are terms with principal functor (-)/2. I have some confusion because , seems more natural. Thanks.
28 Ιουν 2022 · Prolog is a logic programming language. It has important role in artificial intelligence. Unlike many other programming languages, Prolog is intended primarily as a declarative programming language. In prolog, logic is expressed as relations (called as Facts and Rules).
8.1 Natural Language Understanding in Prolog. Because of its declarative semantics, built-in search, and pattern matching, Prolog provides an important tool for programs that process natural language. Indeed, natural language understanding was one of Prolog’s earliest applications.
This chapter will illustrate how the parsing problem can be for mulated in Prolog, and will introduce the Prolog grammar rule for malism, which makes it rather more convenient to write parsers in Prolog. The ideas are not confined to applications concerned with the syntax of natural languages.
The syntax and semantics of Prolog, a programming language, are the sets of rules that define how a Prolog program is written and how it is interpreted, respectively.
These lecture notes introduce the declarative programming language Prolog. The em-phasis is on learning how to program, rather than on the theory of logic programming. Nevertheless, a short chapter on the logic foundations of Prolog is included as well.
