The beats are hard-hitting and dark, the writing is strange and unique, and the overall experience is equal parts hype and harrowing. If you enjoy EL-P's work from Run The Jewels, or his production on countless classic records, this is certainly a must-hear.

In the studio with El-P “I made the album in my apartment in Brooklyn. I had the turntable and an Ensoniq EPS-16 Plus sampler. It was kinda fucking thoroughbred, at the time. The filtering and the sequencing and effects were really unique to it. You really could get something out of that, creatively.
Just last night I finally got sick of it not being in my library and trawled for the torrent and eventually found one on a dodgy Pirate Bay proxy. Uploaded it to my iTunes Match and just started listening to it.
