To schedule collection of bulk items, contact the City's 311 Service Center ( (614) 645-3111) or 311.columbus.gov. If your regular trash is picked up at the curb, place bulk items in front of your home away from obstructions on your specially scheduled collection day.
I am trying to schedule Bulk Pickup. I figured out how to do it online, using the 311 system, and even though it was a little clunky I managed to setup a request to “Schedule Bulk Pickup”. I downloaded the app so I could track my request. It sat in a open/pending state for a few days.

For the record, not every Columbus resident qualifies for free bulk pick up. Check on 311.Columbus.gov to determine if your address does. Many commercial and residential complexes (e.g. apartments and/or condos) do not qualify.
