21 Ιουν 2017 · So far they all 5 shoot very good, much better than a factory rifle. But the two ER Shaw barrels are both outstanding as you can see above. They say a barrel and best accuracy are seen after 200 or so shots...can't wait to see what these two riflesh will do then!

21 Σεπ 2024 · I've had 3 ER Shaw barrels and they were all decent shooters, for hunting guns. They were in the .5-.75 MOA range with the right load. They were all a little picky though.
10 Ιαν 2023 · I have seen folks on the Rimfire boards state that ER Shaw is an upgrade for the Ruger Predators, so if I were building or rebarreling I would have no problem trusting a Shaw barrel. That said I think 1/8 will be better for 240gr, while you probably want 1/10 for 208/215.
5 Νοε 2012 · Are they any good. I picked up one of the 20" threaded Savage .308 barrels last year just to have a bolt .308 option again (now has the .243 barrel on the action). I'm not sure on durability but it shoots MOA with the right loads at 100-300yds (not had past there). For the $130 I paid for it, it was a great value.
21 Ιουν 2017 · Any way...I have been trying to find reviews good or bad but have mostly found threads from 2011...I think the most recent was 2015. Never did find one where the barrel wouldn't shoot. But there were complaints about the condition of the bore. They were in shock that the barrel shot very very well.
15 Φεβ 2018 · I had inquired the community for thoughts regarding an ER Shaw barrel and the consensus was to go with a KIDD. I happened to see a KIDD barrel available and purchased. Installed and took to the range for the first trip and was a bit disappointed but knew it takes a few rounds through it to start tightening things up.
