8 Φεβ 2012 · After a failed update of iTunes (caused by a power outage), I received the following error trying to launch iTunes: "iTunes was not installed properly. Please re-install iTunes.
After installation of Windows 10, I have not been able to install any ITunes updates. This error message appears repeatedly: 'ITunes Error 7, Windows Error 126'. I've repeatedly removed and re-installed ITunes, but the problem remains.
If you see a message that your computer can’t connect to the iTunes Store, choose another item from the pop-up menu (Podcasts, for example), then click Store again. If your computer still doesn’t connect, make sure your internet connection is working—open a web browser and visit a website.
Here is a fix for those of you who cannot get ITunes to load on Windows 10. It seems the Microsoft store version is junk and doesn't install a full version. Only a partial (Restrictions Tab).
