Whenever I want to download a free FLEX preset pack, it says "The download failed. Please check your internet connection and try again!" I have made sure my internet is working properly, and also tried restarting FL, restarting my laptop, or running FL as administrator.

Perhaps your Firewall or Antivirus software is blocking FLEX from downloading the packs correctly. Try disabling any such protection applications first, then try downloading again in FLEX. Once the packs have fully downloaded, you can re-enable those apps again.
i cant download any of the free flex packs all it says is "The download failed. Please check your internet connection and try again!" my internet is great and ive never had issues with it before.
In particular, disabling multithreaded CPU processing and or enabling 'fixed sized buffers' fixes issues with many plugins.
