Xaero's World Map mod adds a self-writing fullscreen map to your Minecraft client. Works as a separate mod but is a lot better with Xaero's Minimap. The reason why it's available separately is to keep Xaero's Minimap as light-weight as possible.
This mod generates worlds on a VERY LARGE scale, both horizontally and vertically. Exploration and resource collecting will be difficult. This mod uses more RAM than vanilla due to worlds being taller.
This mod allows for most entities to have their size and other properties changed, either enlarging or shrinking them. It also provides an API that other mods can make use of to manipulate the size of entities and the time it takes for their size to change.
If you are looking for the ready-to-play maps for 1.16.5, 1.17.1 or 1.19.4 (with 1.20 coming soon), you can find the maps here in a lot of different scales from 1:500 to 1:18000. The official maps are for Java Edition only, but you can find some fan-made map converts for Bedrock here.
Not gonna lie: I thought that Map Atlas just was/is my replacement for Antique Atlas. But this just amazing. A use for vanilla maps and all the features peeps are used to from the big map mods in a vanilla friendly package. Take my (additional) download! You are making it very tempting to drop xaeros minimap for this mod in my singleplayer world.
