APPLICATION: Apply mix with a small spreader to area. Scrape off the excess paste to the contour of the surrounding area. Slightly overbuild above the surrounding gel coat to ensure proper thickness, Heat may be introduced to accelerate the curing and reduce recoat time.
Once desired shade is achieved, add 4 drops of hardener for every teaspoon (1/6 oz) of blended gelcoat paste. Blend paste, colorants and hardener thoroughly. You have approximately 15 minutes of working time.

This neutral paste will make permanent repairs on gel coat and fiberglass panels. Will also adhere to most woods and metals.
16 Ιουν 2024 · For smaller repairs the gelcoat can be brushed on, but larger repairs, most manufacturers recommend application by spray gun. If working on a Kevlar hull be very careful when sanding not to sand into the fabric.
GEL COAT REPAIR KIT. Make sure you have all the materials available (kit content, equipment, acetone, and clean rags) before you start your project. Prepare the damaged area by removing grease, wax, debris, etc. Use acetone to clean up residual debris.
