Examples of Typical Countertransference Problems Problems with maintaining time or space limits of sessions, repeated exceeding of time, skipping sessions, meeting outside therapy, etc. Giving advice and recommendations to patients in situations where they should develop something independently.
The literature under review has highlighted the expression of countertransference through physical symptoms, through the nurse's level of involvement with the patient and through the nurse's positive and negative descriptions of patients.
