To count cells that are not blank in Excel, you can use the COUNTIF() function using the formula: COUNTIF(range, “<>”). The criteria of “<>” will indicate that we want any cells that aren’t equal to nothing.
You can use the following steps to write the formula: First, type =COUNTIF(in cell B1 or any of the cells where you want to get the result. After that, in the first argument, refer to the range A2:B21. This is the range from which you want to count the non-blank cells. In the example, a few cells in this range are empty.
