Split Text into Rows Using TEXTSPLIT Function. If you’re using Excel for Microsoft 365 (Windows or Mac) or Excel for the Web, you can make use of the new TEXTSPLIT function. TEXTSPLIT function splits the text in a cell into rows or columns based on the specified delimiter.
