In the Contact Roles related list of an opportunity or contract, click Add Contact Roles. Select the contacts to add. To add contacts to an opportunity, select the checkboxes next to the contacts you want to add.
To create a custom role: Account Engagement Administrator role. Select Admin (Account Engagement Settings in the Lightning app), and then User Management | Roles. Click +Add Custom Role. Name the role. Select abilities for the role. Save the role.
