10 Ιουν 2006 · I just picked up a new steering damper to replace the stock piece of crap. It's an Italian made unit. Only 8 clicks of adjustment from none to very stiff, but it seems to be very effective. It's a very nice looking unit too that bolts straight into the stock location.
26 Ιουν 2018 · Oil pump location. The automatic transmission oil pump is located inside the gearbox, so when transmission specialists have to deal with the oil pump issues they have to tear down the transmission and remove the bellhousing from the transmission.

FCA will repair your vehicle free of charge (parts and labor). To do this, your dealer will replace the steering damper. The estimated repair time is half an hour. In addition, your dealer will require your vehicle for proper check-in, preparation, and check-out during your visit, which requires more time.
If the shudder can be induced during a power braking event in first gear as shown in the video, then both the lower and upper valve body assemblies should be replaced at the same time. Note: Inspect ISS and/or OSS for debris collecting as this would be a sign of an internal component failure.

If your steering wheel is still jerky after replacing the steering damper, then further inspection of the steering system may be required.
