Its 10,000 pounds static thrust (16,200 pounds static thrust with afterburner) Pratt & Whitney J57 turbojet gave it a top speed of Mach 1.53 at 35,000 feet and a range of 1,474 miles. It was armed with four 20mm cannon and two Sidewinders.
