Report suspicious emails regarding your Facebook or Instagram accounts. If you get a message that seems like a scam, don’t open it. Instead, report it to Facebook at phish@meta.com. For violations on Instagram, fill out a report form.
Facebook: Any business can visit facebook.com/hacked to report a hacked account or a suspected impersonation. Instagram: People can report and resolve account access issues at instagram.com/hacked. WhatsApp: Follow these steps to protect or recover your account.

Scammers are relentless and continuously evolve their tactics to try to evade detection, so we’re building on our existing defenses by testing new ways to protect people and make it harder for scammers to deceive others. We’re testing the use of facial recognition technology to detect and prevent celeb-bait ads on our platforms.
