This is the third Fahren LED headlight upgrade I have tested, and by popular demand.How well does it perform compared to the Krieges and Forscher?
No. LEDs in halogen headlights is both illegal, and very unsafe. NO LED headlight bulb can imitate the beam patterning of the halogen filament. It also creates a much larger lit surface (the headlight cover) which causes more irritation to other drivers.
27 Νοε 2021 · Purchase the Fahren F6A/Forscher LEDs: The Cougar Motor Flagship LEDs on the other hand tested at 5500k color temperature, which we prefer and is closer to a pure white over the Fahren LEDs. Low beam performance came out to 986 lux which is over 2.5X the output at 25 feet, or 164% additional light.
