Effective with the sunset of CDBS filings on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, all Media Bureau filings that cannot be submitted using LMS must be submitted by email to audiofilings@fcc.gov. In the case of filings using an FCC form, the form should be submitted as an attachment to the email in “pdf” format.
18 Δεκ 2023 · Below is a list of the Media Bureau's broadcast forms that MUST be electronically filed via CDBS or LMS. Paper filings of these forms will not be accepted unless accompanied by a request for waiver with ample justification as to why the form cannot be electronically filed.

4 Μαΐ 2022 · These applications had, since CDBS was closed for new filings, been submitted through emails to the FCC (see our articles here and here). Most notably, the new LMS filings will include requests for Special Temporary Authority – and future requests for extensions of STAs.
As part of its ongoing effort to update the Commission’s application filing systems, the Media Bureau is pleased to announce the transition of additional filings to the LMS online electronic system. Commencing May 17, 2022, the public will be required to submit the following filings using LMS:
