27 Ιουν 2023 · If you intend to engage in a business involving the dealing, manufacturing, or importing of firearms, or manufacturing or importing ammunition, you must apply for a federal firearms license (FFL) from ATF.
Licensed dealers (Type 01 and Type 02 FFLs) must maintain on their licensed premises A&D records that document the acquisition and disposition of firearms. A&D records must include information about the receipt, sale, or other disposition of firearms.
First review and background check. Once the application fee is processed, the Federal Firearms Licensing Center (FFLC) will enter your application information into its database and commence a full review of your application.
16 Αυγ 2024 · How much an FFL costs depends on which type of FFL. Each FFL License Type has a fee for the first three year period and a fee for each 3 year renewal after. The most common FFL, a Type 01 Dealer’s License costs $200 for the first three years and $90 for each three year renewal.
An FFL fee is the application cost, between $30 and $3,000 depending on the license type. See above for an explanation of the license types. Renewals are then $30 to $3,000 every three years depending on the type.
