The solver uses Monte Carlo tree search (MCTS), modified to work for a single player. MCTS works by semi-randomly executing actions to generate a large tree of possible crafting steps, from which the best path is chosen after a certain amount of time has passed.
Thanks for the awesome support after I posted asking for help on the site :) Here's a handful of things I was able to do this past month: - Local environment setup. - New server, new host, codename Cactuar. - Cheaper cost, slightly more powerful, it's been years since I've moved things around.
For crafting, pretty much anything that improves macro experience (macro chain, fractionality, etc) will be useful. Some people will even build out full crafting macro menus you can import into QOL bar.
